MaterialsPerformance59 GmbH is focussed on technology readiness levels (TRL) five to nine. This is done to focus on our business area and also to differentiate ourselves from research institutes whose partners we are.
Technology readiness levels are familiar from the aerospace industry and are often used today in the tendering process for research funding programmes. This quickly makes it clear which technological maturity level the start and end points of potential projects should have. In this context, the European Union describes the nine possible TRLs as follows:
