In addition, we believe it is important to take a performance-based approach to interesting, innovative building materials. The full potential of new building materials can only be realised if their special properties that set them apart from conventional materials are known. In other words, we would rather not squeeze these new building materials into familiar standardised corsets, but rather work out their unique selling points.
